General Terms and Conditions

Thank you for visiting our website. This website with URL address www.spotless4u.com.au  is owned and operated by SPOTLESS4U CLEANING SERVICES ABN 73 623 744 276. SPOTLESS4U CLEANING SERVICES  (“SPOTLESS4U”) operates a website and associated administrative services (together the “Platform”) through which customers (“Users”) can book a Business for the provision of household and commercial services such as regular house cleaning, spring/ one’s of cleaning, end of lease cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, high-pressure cleaning, gutter cleaning etc. services (“Services”), by submitting a booking request. SPOTLESS4U then matches the most suitable Business from its database of Businesses to the booking request.  A Business is an independent service provider in the business of providing the Services.

These terms and conditions form a contract between SPOTLESS4U and the Users for the use of the Platform (“Terms”).

The User enters into two contractual relationships.

The first contract is with SPOTLESS4U, governing the access to and use of the Platform by the Terms.

The second contract is between the User and a Business for the provision of the Services and with SPOTLESS4U as a technology provider in respect of the Services (“Services Agreement”) as set out here as amended from time to time.

By accessing and/or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Spotless4u Cleaning Services, regardless of the booking method. By booking through our online platform, via email, or over the phone, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
    In these Terms (including the recitals), unless the context otherwise requires:
    1. Booking” means the booking made by you for the provision of Services;
    2. Booking System” means SPOTLESS4U’s systems which enable you to make a Booking;
    3. Service Fee” means the fee, as advised by SPOTLESS4U from time to time, (inclusive of goods and service tax, if applicable) for the Services;
    4. Intellectual Property Rights” means all present and future rights anywhere in the world in relation to copyright, trademarks, designs, patents or other proprietary rights, or any rights to registration of such rights whether existing before or after your access to the Platform;
    5. Platform Content” means all material, content and information made available on the Platform including but not limited to written text, graphics, images, photographs, logos, trademarks, audio material, video material and any other forms of expression;
    6. You”, “your”< means you as the user of the Platform.
    7. In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:
    8. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect its interpretation or construction;
    9. the singular includes the plural and vice versa;
    10. references to recitals, clauses, subclauses, paragraphs, annexures or schedules are references to recitals, clauses, subclauses, paragraphs, annexures and schedules of or to these Terms;
    11. words importing a gender include other genders;
    12. the word “person” means a natural person and any association, body or entity whether incorporated or not;
    13. where any word or phrase is defined, any other part of speech or other grammatical form of that word or phrase has a cognate meaning;
    14. a reference to any statute, proclamation, rule, code, regulation or ordinance includes any amendment, consolidation, modification, re-enactment or reprint of it or any statute, proclamation, rule, code, regulation or ordinance replacing it;
    15. all monetary amounts are in Australian currency;
    16. a reference to time refers to Eastern Standard Time;
    17. “includes” is not a word of limitation; no rule of construction applies to the disadvantage of a party because these Terms are prepared by (or on behalf of) that party
    18. a reference to anything is a reference to the whole and each part of it;
    19. a reference to a group of persons is a reference to all of them collectively and to each of them individually; and
    20. a reference to a document includes all amendments or supplements to, or replacements or novations of, that document.
  2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    1. Access to and use of this Platform is governed by these Terms.
    2. SPOTLESS4U periodically reviews the Terms and reserves the right to change the Terms, without any notice to you, by updating this document. You should review this document, as available on the Platform, regularly as any changes to the Terms take immediate effect from the date of the publication on this document. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes are made will be deemed to constitute your acceptance of those changes.
    3. You acknowledge that any hyperlinks or other redirection tools taking you to other operated by third parties that appear on the Platform (“Third Party Sites”) are not controlled by SPOTLESS4U and do not form part of the Platform. You agree that you will not hold SPOTLESS4U liable or in any way accountable for anything that occurs on any Third Party Site.
  3. ACCEPTANCE
    1. By accessing or using the Platform you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms, and you agree that these Terms shall apply to all Services that you book via the Platform.
    2. Notwithstanding clause 3.2, you may not accept the Terms or access the Platform if:
      1. you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with SPOTLESS4U; or
      2. you are a person barred from entering into contracts under the legislation, in which case, you must immediately leave the Platform.
    3. By accepting the Terms, you agree that this is clear and unequivocal proof that the Terms are not unconscionable, that there is no unfair bargaining power or position, that there is no duress, and that you have carefully read and understood the Terms.
    4. If you do not understand any part of the Terms you should seek independent legal advice.
  4. USER PROFILE
    1. You will be required to register your personal information, including your name, address, phone number and payment details on the Platform in order to make a Booking (“User Profile”).
    2. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to use the Booking System in accordance with these Terms. You also agree that all information supplied by you in using the Platform and the Booking System will be true and accurate at all times.
    3. SPOTLESS4U may delete or block User Profiles at its own discretion. Blocked users are prohibited from setting up a new User Profile.
  5. BOOKING SYSTEM
    1. You may request a Booking via the Booking System. You will receive a Booking confirmation, a payment receipt and the Services Agreement that constitutes the contractual relationship between you, SPOTLESS4U as a technology provider and a Business as a service provider that you are deemed to have entered into for the provision of the Services.
    2. Any services booked online must have the appropriate options selected. Suppose you do not select a particular service during the online booking process and later request it, claiming it is specially included in end-of-lease, pre-sale or spring cleaning. In that case, it will not be accepted if it wasn’t chosen at the time of booking.
    3. For our End-of-lease and Pre-sale cleaning service, wall spot cleaning is included only when you select the “Wall Spot Cleaning” option during your booking. If this option is not selected, it will not be included in the service.
    4. SPOTLESS4U will then make your contact details, location, requested time and the scope of the Service available to its Business network. An available Business will then confirm its acceptance of the Booking.
    5. You are able to request a preferred Business. SPOTLESS4U will take your preference into account when facilitating the Service, however, a specific Business cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the Business’s availability.
    6. When a Booking is confirmed by a Business, SPOTLESS4U will notify you.
    7. If the requested Business cannot fulfill your Booking, SPOTLESS4U will arrange an alternative Business for the requested Booking time.
    8. If the requested Booking cannot be facilitated, SPOTLESS4U will arrange an alternative time for the Service with you and a Business.
    9. You are not permitted to engage the Services of a Business other than through the Booking System on the Platform.
    10. The Booking System is provided on the Platform to enable you to make legitimate Bookings and to make payments for those Bookings and for no other purposes.
    11. Any speculative, false or fraudulent Booking is prohibited. You agree that the Booking System will only be used to make legitimate Bookings for you or another person for whom you are legally authorized to act. You acknowledge that abuse of the Booking System may result in you being denied access to the Booking System.
    12. SPOTLESS4U has the right at any time to add, change or withdraw functions available on the Platform at its own discretion.
  6. PRICING AND ESTIMATES
    1. You acknowledge and agree that the price quoted for your Booking is an estimate only (“Estimate”), and the actual price charged may vary depending on the type and scope of work/services needed.
    2. After the Business has arrived at your home/premises, the Business will further assess the problem or work to be performed.  If the Business determines that the work required is greater than what was initially contemplated, the Business will advise you and generate a new estimate reflecting the increase in the scope of the Services.  If you approve the revised estimate, the Business will complete the work.  If you do not approve, the Business will make reasonable efforts to complete some or all of the work specified on the original Estimate, the pricing for which you had previously agreed or, if the Business is unable to do so, the Booking shall be deemed canceled.
    3. Our hourly rates are charged per cleaner, per hour. If we send a team of cleaners to your property, the total cleaning time may be less than the combined man-hours of the team. However, you will be charged based on the total man-hours worked by all cleaners.
  7. Property type & condition
    1. Our quote is based on a property in standard condition. Additional costs may apply if the property is found to be in poor condition or requires cleaning beyond our standard packages.
    2. For Furnished Property: our cleaning professionals will not move furniture to clean underneath. We will clean accessible areas, such as under tables, but if you require cleaning behind or under specific furniture pieces (e.g., sofas, cabinets), you will need to move them prior to our arrival.
    3. We recommend booking those cleaning after all furniture and belongings have been taken out of the property.
    4. Please note that we are not responsible for cleaning any areas revealed after we have completed the service, such as behind or under items that were moved after our team has left.
    5. Kitchen Cleaning: If your kitchen is full of utensils, appliances, and other items, our standard cleaning will focus on accessible surfaces. If you require cleaning underneath or behind these items, we can move them for an additional fee, which will be communicated to you on the cleaning day.
  8. PAYMENT
    1. To secure your booking and confirm the cleaning date and time, we require a deposit. The deposit amount will be either 50% of the quoted price or the full amount, depending on the specific cleaning service you choose.
    2. All remaining payment is due upon job completion. The remaining balance must be paid in full within 7 days of the cleaning date. If the outstanding amount is not received within this period, Spotless4u Cleaning Services reserves the right to initiate debt recovery procedures. Customers will be responsible for any additional fees related to debt recovery, which may include a flat fee of $150 plus 15% of the outstanding balance. In cases of prolonged non-payment, our official debt collection partner, Henley Recoveries Group, will contact you. Continued non-payment may result in further charges and could impact your credit file.
    3. At the time of making a Booking, your payment details will be transferred to SPOTLESS4U’s secure payment gateway and SPOTLESS4U will take payment for the Booking.  In relation to a recurring Booking, SPOTLESS4U will take payment for your first scheduled Service at the time of making the Booking, and subsequent services will be charged in accordance with subclause 2 below.
    4. If you have made a recurring Booking, your payment for subsequent services will be pre-authorized up to 72 hours prior to the commencement of each scheduled Service, and SPOTLESS4U will take payment on the day of each scheduled Service. You must ensure that sufficient funds are available for debit at that time. Fees and charges relating to insufficient funds at the time of debit may be passed onto you.
    5. If SPOTLESS4U is unable to successfully obtain a pre-authorization for any scheduled Service at any time within 24 hours of the scheduled commencement, SPOTLESS4U reserves the right to cancel your Booking immediately upon written notice (email or SMS to suffice) and no Service will be provided to you.
    6. On receipt of the Service Fee, SPOTLESS4U will hold the Service Fee on behalf of the Business until such time as it accounts to the Business, pays a refund to you (if you are entitled to a refund) or credits payment of our fees and charges. No interest will be payable by SPOTLESS4U to you or the Business on amounts held by SPOTLESS4U.
    7. SPOTLESS4U will issue you with a receipt for your payment of the Service Fee. You may request for a Tax Invoice and SPOTLESS4U will provide you with a Tax Invoice for the Services rendered by the Business within a reasonable time of your request.
    8. If the User is entitled to a refund in accordance with the Services Agreement, SPOTLESS4U will process the refund as soon as practicable after the right to the refund arises.
  9. RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS
    1. You can cancel or reschedule a Booking free of charge, up to 72 hours before the Service is scheduled to begin.
    2. If you cancel or reschedule a Booking, up to 48 hours before the Service is scheduled to begin, you will have to pay cancellation costs equivalent to 50% of the value of the total booking fee.
    3. If you cancel or reschedule a Booking, up to 24 hours before the Service is scheduled to begin, you will have to pay cancellation costs equivalent to 75% of the value of the total booking fee.
    4. If you cancel or reschedule a Booking, up to 12 hours before the Service is scheduled to begin, you will have to pay cancellation costs equivalent to 100% of the value of the total booking fee.
    5. You cannot reschedule, extend or cancel a Booking during the performance of the Services.
    6. The Services Agreement shall expire once the Services under the Booking have been performed.
    7. If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning outside of our normal business hours, we’ll process your request on the next business day.
    8. If your cleaning service is scheduled on a public holiday, we’ll still come unless you let us know you’d like to cancel or reschedule.
    9. If the Business is unable to fulfill a confirmed Booking (in full or part), SPOTLESS4U will attempt to find you a replacement Business. If we cannot find you an alternative business, we will reschedule your booking for a new time that suits you. If we cannot find a suitable time for you, you may cancel the Booking at no charge.

For Outside Business Hours: If you need to cancel or reschedule outside of our regular business hours (Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM), please send a text message to(0404-040-451 / 1300 776 130) or an email to [email protected]. Please note that we are closed on Sundays and public holidays and will not be able to respond to inquiries during those times. We will strive to address your request promptly on the next business day.
  10. SERVICES
    1. SPOTLESS4U operates the Platform through which you may arrange and book the provision of the Services by a Business under the Service Agreement and SPOTLESS4U provides you with the platform to purchase these Services.
    2. You acknowledge that SPOTLESS4U does not provide the Services to you in any circumstances and the Businesses are not employed or subcontracted by SPOTLESS4U or any of its affiliates.
    3. SPOTLESS4U is not an agent or broker for you. You enter into any transaction, including any Services Agreement with a Business, entirely at your own risk.
    4. SPOTLESS4U monitors the Services offered by a Business. However, SPOTLESS4U does not guarantee or make any representation as to the safety, quality, condition or description of any products used or Services provided by Business. Any issues regarding safety, quality, condition or description should be notified to SPOTLESS4U, who will then pass the issue on to the Business designated to your Booking. You should refer to the terms and conditions of your Services Agreement for further information.
    5. All bookings are subject to Business availability.
  11. CLEANING SCOPE & EXCLUSIONS
    1. Standard Inclusions: The specific tasks included in your cleaning will depend on your requirements and the agreed-upon service duration. Our team will discuss the scope of work with you before starting the service
    2. Exclusions: Certain tasks are not included in our standard cleaning services, such as:
      1.  Removal of heavy furniture or appliances
      2. Cleaning of high-reach areas (above a 3-step ladder)
      3. Removal of extensive wall stains, smoke marks, or mold
      4. Cleaning of ceilings
      5. Cleaning of the interior of refrigerators
      6. Cleaning of outdoor areas (unless specifically requested and priced accordingly)
      7. Removal of concrete, grout, paint, or glue residue from windows, walls, floors, or other surfaces.
        Note: These tasks require additional time and specialized techniques and may incur an extra charge.
  12. Extra Add-on Services
    1. The “Extra Addon Services” listed on the quote page are optional and not included in the base service.
    2. Customers must explicitly select the desired add-on services during the quote process to receive them.
    3. If no addon services are selected, they will not be provided.
    4. Each add-on service has an associated cost, which will be provided upon inspection or as otherwise specified.
    5. The total cost of selected addon services will be added to the base service price.
    6. Prices for add-on services are subject to change.

  13. End of Lease & Pre-Sale Cleaning
    1. Comprehensive Service: Our End-of-Lease Pre-Sale cleaning package is meticulously designed to meet the stringent requirements of property managers and landlords. It includes a thorough cleaning of key areas, encompassing 1 kitchen, 1 laundry, 1 living/dining area, and a specified number of bedrooms and bathrooms as agreed upon at the time of booking.
    2. Satisfaction Guaranteed: We are committed to your satisfaction and ensuring a successful end-of-lease & pre-sale cleaning. If your property manager or landlord identifies any areas requiring further attention within 3 days of the cleaning, we will gladly return and reclean those areas free of charge.
    3. Property Preparation: For optimal End-of-lease & Pre-Sale cleaning results, the property must be completely empty of all belongings, including furniture, boxes, and personal items. If items are left behind, our standard procedure is to remove them from the property unless we have been instructed otherwise. We strongly recommend removing any valuable or fragile items before our cleaning team arrives to prevent accidental disposal.
    4. Inspection Date: Please inform us of the scheduled end-of-lease & pre-sale inspection date at the time of booking. This allows us to plan and ensure the cleaning is completed in a timely manner to meet your inspection deadline.
    5. Smoke Marks Exclusion: Please note that the cleaning of smoke marks on walls and ceilings is not included in our standard end-of-lease & pre-sale cleaning package and may incur additional charges.
  14. Commercial & Office Cleaning Service
    1. Service Schedule: Cleaning services will be performed according to a mutually agreed-upon schedule, whether daily, weekly, or at other specified intervals.
    2. Facility Access: Clients are responsible for providing necessary access to the premises during scheduled cleaning times, including keys, security codes, or access cards.
    3. Emergency Alarm Issues: If emergency alarm codes fail during our service, Spotless4u Cleaning Services is not responsible. Any charges incurred as a result of such issues will be the client’s responsibility.
    4. Confidentiality: Our staff is trained to respect the confidentiality and privacy of all client information encountered during their duties.
    5. Electronics and Computers: Our team performs only light dusting on electronic equipment such as computers. We do not wipe or touch these devices to prevent damage.

    6. Workstations and Desks: We do not organize or rearrange workstations or desks to avoid disturbing important files or documents. Cleaning will be limited to the areas surrounding these spaces.
    7. Provision of Materials: Spotless4u Cleaning Services will supply all standard cleaning equipment and materials unless otherwise agreed upon.
    8. Specialized Products: If specific cleaning products are required or preferred by the client, these should be provided by the client or may incur additional charges.
  15. Gutter Cleaning Service
    1. Scope of Service: Our standard gutter cleaning service involves removing debris, leaves, and dirt from the exterior and surrounding areas of the gutters.
      We do not open or access the internal gutter system (called the “gutter gut”) as part of the standard service. If the client opens the gutters or grants us access to the internal system, we will happily clean the interior upon request. This may incur additional costs, which will be communicated in advance.
    2. Access and Safety: Clients must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the property, including ladders or roof access if necessary.Spotless4u Cleaning Services reserves the right to refuse service if the work environment poses safety risks to our team, such as unstable surfaces, steep roofs, or hazardous conditions.
    3. Limitations and Exclusions: Our service does not include repairs, sealing, or replacing gutters. For structural or mechanical repairs, clients are advised to engage a qualified tradesperson. Cleaning is limited to debris removal and does not cover the removal of stubborn stains, moss, or algae unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
    4. Responsibility and Liability: While we strive to clean gutters thoroughly, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of debris in areas that are inaccessible or unsafe to reach. Spotless4u Cleaning Services is not liable for pre-existing damage to gutters or the property nor for issues arising from blocked downpipes that require professional plumbing services.
    5. Post-Cleaning Recommendations: To maintain gutter efficiency and prevent blockages, we recommend scheduling regular cleaning services at least twice a year, especially before and after the rainy season. If wear or damage is observed during cleaning, we may advise seeking professional repairs or maintenance to prevent further issues.
  16. Window Cleaning Service
    1. Genarel Window Cleaning: Spotless4U Cleaning Services offers professional window cleaning, which includes the cleaning of exterior and interior glass, window frames, and sills, as agreed upon in the service agreement.
    2. Construction Window Cleaning: We provide specialized construction window cleaning to remove paint, cement, glue, and construction dust. Our team uses professional-grade tools and techniques, as necessary, to deliver a spotless finish while maintaining the integrity of the glass and frames. Please note, in this service, it is common to discover pre-existing scratches or damages on the windows after cleaning and dust removal. Spotless4u Cleaning Services is not responsible for such pre-existing issues.
    3. Renovated/Replaced Window Cleaning: Our renovated or replaced window cleaning service removes paint, stickers, and dust left behind after renovation work. Using professional-grade tools and techniques as needed, we provide a pristine finish while taking care to protect the glass and frames. However, it is common to discover pre-existing scratches or damages on the windows after cleaning and dust removal. We are not responsible for such pre-existing issues.
    4. Excluded Services: Cleaning of window furnishings such as blinds, curtains, shutters, or other window coverings is not included in the standard window cleaning service unless explicitly stated in the service agreement.
    5. Obstructions: We are not responsible for cleaning windows or surfaces that are obstructed by furniture, decor, or other items unless these obstructions are moved before the appointment or agreed upon in advance.
    6. Care in Cleaning: Spotless4U Cleaning Services takes all reasonable care to clean windows without causing any damage. Our team uses only cotton dollies, rubber squeegees, high-quality window cleaning chemicals, and, where necessary for exterior cleaning, a water-fed pole system to ensure a thorough yet gentle cleaning process. With these tools and products, there is almost zero risk of scratches during the general window cleaning.
    7.  Damage During Cleaning: In the rare event that scratches or damage to the windows do occur during cleaning, Spotless4U Cleaning Services will thoroughly evaluate the situation. If it is determined that the cleaning process caused the damage, we will work with the customer to resolve the matter. This may include repair or compensation, depending on the specific circumstances.
    8. Pre-existing Damage: The Company is not responsible for any pre-existing scratches, chips, or damage to the windows or glass, which may only become visible after the window cleaning process. For example, previous damage from a fallen tree or stone may be hidden under dust or dirt, becoming more visible after the windows are cleaned. Customers should inform Spotless4U Cleaning Services of any visible damage before cleaning so it can be noted and handled appropriately.
    9. Post-Service Responsibility: Spotless4U Cleaning Services will not be held responsible for any damage or scratches to the windows once the cleaning team has left the property. If the customer believes that damage occurred during the cleaning process, they are welcome to raise the issue immediately with the cleaning team or with the Company. Any concerns raised after the cleaning team has left the premises will be reviewed, but the responsibility for any damage will not be accepted post-service unless addressed during the cleaning visit.
    10. Access to Windows: The customer is responsible for ensuring that Windows is accessible to our team at the time of the service. Any obstructions should be cleared before our team arrives to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
    11. Notification of Damage: Customers must notify Spotless4U Cleaning Services of any visible damage to the windows before cleaning, so we can record it and take necessary precautions.
  17. Oven Cleaning Service
    1. Scope of Work: Our oven cleaning service includes thorough cleaning of the oven interior, hobs, extractor fans, and related appliances as specified during booking.
    2. Excluded Areas: Please note that we do not clean the oven ceiling or remove any oven glass panels due to the risk of damage. We also do not remove any disabled ovens. Any such requests will be declined.we don’t reassemble anything.
    3. Additional Services: Any extra services or specific requests must be agreed upon before the commencement of work and may incur additional charges
    4. Pre-Cleaning Conditions: Clients should ensure that the oven and surrounding areas are free from excessive clutter or hazards that may impede the cleaning process.
    5. Breakages and Damages: In case of any breakage or damage caused by our operatives, claims must be reported within 24 hours of discovery. Please save the broken item for our inspection. Fraudulent claims will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
    6. Scratches and Damage:

      • Spotless4u Cleaning Services takes all reasonable care to clean the oven without causing any damage. Our team uses high-quality cleaning tools and products to ensure a thorough yet safe cleaning process.
      • In the rare event that scratches or damage to the oven or its components (such as the glass) occur during cleaning, we will thoroughly evaluate the situation. If it is determined that our cleaning process caused the damage, we will work with the customer to resolve the matter. This may include repair or compensation, depending on the specific circumstances.
      • Spotless4u Cleaning Services is not responsible for any pre-existing scratches, chips, or damage that may become visible only after cleaning. For example, prior damage that is concealed under grime or grease may become more apparent once cleaned. Customers are advised to inform us of any visible damage before the cleaning so it can be noted and handled accordingly.
      • Spotless4u Cleaning Services will not be held responsible for any scratches or damage to the oven or its components once the cleaning team has left the property. If the customer believes that damage occurred during the cleaning process, it should be raised with the cleaning team immediately on-site or with the company within 24 hours of service. Any concerns raised after this time will not be accepted as a responsibility post-service.
    7. Quality Assurance: On completion of the work, please check you are happy with the work carried out. If there is anything you are not satisfied with, please mention it immediately to the operative so that they can rectify the issue. If you are not home, please report any issues to our office within 24 hours.
  18. NDIS Cleaning Service
    1. Scope of Services

      We offer a variety of NDIS cleaning services, including but not limited to:

    2. Service Duration and Additional Hours
      • The minimum required booking duration for any NDIS cleaning service is 2 hours.
      • If the service requires additional time to complete due to the condition of the property or specific requirements, we will inform the client in advance.
      • Extra time or additional personnel will incur extra charges, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.
    3. Pricing and Quotations
      • Hourly pricing displayed on our website is for reference and may vary based on the type of service and the condition of the property.
      • For accurate pricing, clients are advised to visit the specific page of the service they wish to book or request a detailed quotation.
      • Any adjustments to the pricing will be communicated to the client before the service is carried out.
    4. Client Responsibilities
      • Clients must provide their NDIS ID or Insurance Number, insurance coverage details, billing email, and all required information before the cleaning service begins.
      • Clients must provide clear and accurate information about their property and service needs during the booking process.
      • Access to the property and any necessary facilities, such as electricity and water, must be ensured for the service team.
    5. Service Limitations
      • The scope of each cleaning service will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.
      • Services outside the agreed scope will not be provided unless explicitly approved and may incur additional charges
  19. Decluttering and Hoarder Cleaning Service
    1. Assessment and Planning: Before beginning the service, we will conduct an on-site assessment to evaluate the extent of work required. This allows us to create a customized plan outlining the areas to address, timeframes, and any special requirements. Please note that while we may provide a quote based on images or client booking details, the quoted price is subject to change upon arrival and after a detailed evaluation of the actual work required.

    2. Client Participation and Responsibilities: Clients are encouraged to remain present during the service to guide our team on which items to keep, donate, or discard. If the client is not available or does not provide clear instructions, our team will use their best judgment. Clients are responsible for securing or removing valuable and sentimental items before the service begins and tagging them clearly to avoid confusion. Spotless4u Cleaning Services is not liable for valuable items inadvertently discarded in such cases.

    3. Disposal and Skip Bin Hiring: The service often requires the hiring of a skip bin for waste disposal. Spotless4u Cleaning Services can arrange the skip bin on the client’s behalf, but the client is responsible for all associated costs. If Spotless4u hires the skip bin, clients must not use it to dispose of any trash without our permission. However, if the client hires the skip bin themselves, they are free to use it as they want. Clients should also check disposed materials, such as skip bins or rubbish bags if any valuable items are reported missing.
    4. Health and Safety: For the safety of all parties, the service will be paused if hazardous materials (e.g., biohazards, mold, or asbestos) or pest infestations are discovered. The client is responsible for resolving these issues before work resumes. Additionally, clients must inform us in advance if there are any insulin, needles, or sharp metal objects in the cleaning area to ensure proper handling and safety.
    5. Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking. In some cases, full payment may be requested in advance. The remaining balance is due upon service completion unless paid in full upfront. Additional charges for unforeseen expenses (e.g., extra labor or specialized equipment) will be communicated and added to the final invoice.
    6. Service Quality and Cooperation: While we strive to deliver the best service possible, we cannot guarantee 100% satisfaction if the client does not actively cooperate with our team during the process.
    7. Post-Cleaning Recommendations: After the decluttering and cleaning process, we recommend repainting/renovating the property. This helps to refresh its appearance and cover any marks or damage that may have been revealed during cleaning.
    8. Valuable Items and Cleaner Accountability: If a valuable item is reported missing, clients are advised to check disposed materials (e.g., skip bins or rubbish bags). Spotless4u Cleaning Services assures that our cleaners do not take any items from the property for personal use. All our cleaners undergo a thorough background check and have a 0% criminal history, ensuring the highest level of trust and professionalism. Clients are welcome to verify the cleaner’s credentials or permission on-site if desired. However, once this verification is completed, no blame or accusations will be accepted against the cleaners, especially for this type of job.
  20. ADDITIONAL CONDITION
    1. Property Access: Please ensure our cleaning professionals have unobstructed access to your property, including running water and electricity. If access is restricted or the service is interrupted, additional fees may apply.
    2. Pets & Children: For the safety and comfort of everyone involved, we kindly request that you supervise pets and children during the cleaning service.
    3. Regular Cleaning: Our regular cleaning service is designed for weekly or fortnightly upkeep and has a minimum booking duration of 2 hours.
    4. Spring Cleaning: For a deeper clean at less frequent intervals, we offer spring cleaning with a minimum booking duration of 3 hours. Please note that spring cleaning does not guarantee that your property will meet the specific requirements of an end-of-lease inspection.
    5. Window Cleaning: Cleaning of window furnishings such as blinds and curtains, is not included in the standard service.
    6. Flyscreen Cleaning: If you require flyscreen cleaning as part of an external cleaning service, please remove them from the inside of the property before our arrival. We will attempt to remove easily detachable flyscreens, but we will not remove any that appear damaged or deteriorated, as this could cause further harm. In such cases, the windows behind those flyscreens may not be thoroughly cleaned, and the flyscreens themselves may remain dirty. If you specifically request flyscreen removal, we will do so only if it can be done safely. We are not responsible for any damage or breakage that may occur during the removal process.
    7. Carpet Steam Cleaning and Stain Removal: While our carpet steam cleaning service is effective in removing most stains, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains. Stains caused by harsh chemicals, acids, or permanent dyes may be impossible to eliminate. If your carpet has stains requiring specialized treatment, we will inform you on the day of service and provide a quote for the additional cost. Please note that stain removal is not included in the standard carpet steam cleaning price and will be charged per stain treated. We cannot guarantee complete stain removal even with specialized treatment. For the best results, please provide us with as much information as possible about the stains, including their origin and any previous cleaning attempts.
    8. Light Fixtures & Fans: We will dust ceiling fans and light fixtures that can be easily reached. Cleaning of downlights or other fixed fittings that require removal is not included unless arranged in advance at an additional cost.
    9. Multi-Story Properties & Heavy Lifting: Additional fees may apply for properties on higher floors without lift access or requiring
    10. Rectifications: We strive for your complete satisfaction. If you or your property manager identify any areas requiring attention within 3 days of the cleaning, please notify us, and we will promptly address them at no additional cost.
    11. Inspection Date: To ensure optimal scheduling, please provide us with the date of your final inspection at the time of booking.
    12. Late Fees: If your payment is overdue, a late fee may be applied on a weekly basis.
    13. Before & After Photos: We may take photos of your property before and after cleaning for quality control and training purposes.
    14. Satisfaction & Feedback: Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re unhappy with any aspect of the cleaning, please let us know before our cleaners leave. This allows us to address any concerns right away. We cannot take responsibility for issues reported after the cleaners have left. Please note this policy doesn’t apply to end-of-lease & pre-sale cleaning, which has its own rectification process.

    4. We’re closed on Sundays and Public Holidays, but our cleaning services generally continue during those times. If your cleaner is on leave, we will contact you before your service to arrange an alternative date.
  22. TERMINATION
    1. SPOTLESS4U may at its discretion terminate your use of, or access to, the Platform at any time. If this happens we may notify you by email. If your use of the Platform is terminated:
      1. you are no longer authorized to access the Platform or use any other SPOTLESS4U services with the email address you used to register with the Platform or any other email address you possess;
      2. you will continue to be subject to and bound by all restrictions imposed on you by the Terms; and
      3. all licenses granted by you and all disclaimers by SPOTLESS4U and limitations of SPOTLESS4U’s liability set out in the Terms or elsewhere on the Platform will survive termination.
    2. You may terminate this agreement by emailing SPOTLESS4U at [email protected] SPOTLESS4U will disable your User Profile within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the email requesting termination of your User Profile.
    3. SPOTLESS4U reserves the right to deduct any outstanding fees and charges owing to SPOTLESS4U and/or the Business on your User Profile prior to disabling it.
  23. BREAKAGES AND LOSS POLICY
    1. Our cleaning professionals always take extra care when servicing your homes. If anything breaks or goes missing during our service, let us know within 48 hours by email or phone, with a photo, with the proof that this happened during our services or by our cleaner and damage estimate. We’ll do our best to fix or replace it.
    2. Spotless4u may hire professionals for repairs and handle payment directly with them.
    3. Spotless4u is not responsible for breakage due to normal wear and tear, age-related deterioration, or damage due to improper assembly, construction, or mounting of an item. Kindly notify us immediately if any items in your home need this type of attention.
  24. DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY
    1. Most customer concerns can be resolved quickly and to the customer’s satisfaction by emailing customer support at [email protected] . You agree to make the circumstances of any dispute known by notice in writing to this email address before taking any other action.
    2. In the unlikely event that SPOTLESS4U is unable to resolve a complaint you may have (or if SPOTLESS4U has not been able to resolve a dispute it has with you after attempting to do so), you agree to resolve any claim, cause of action or disputes you have with SPOTLESS4U arising out of or in relation to these terms and conditions exclusively in the courts exercising jurisdiction in Australia and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating all such claims.
    3. SPOTLESS4U welcomes any feedback, comments and complaints you may have in respect of the Services and the Businesses, however, you acknowledge the Business is the sole provider of the Services.
  25. SECURITY OF PAYMENT
    1. SPOTLESS4U has taken all practical steps from both a technical and systems perspective to ensure that all of your information is well protected. A secure payment gateway is used to process all transactions and credit card details.
    2. SPOTLESS4U does not give any warranty or make any representation regarding the strength or effectiveness of the secure payment gateway and is not responsible for events arising from unauthorized access to your information.
  26. CLEANING SAFETY
    1. For safety reasons, our cleaners don’t move heavy items or handle high-reach areas (over a 3-step ladder).
    2. If you want us to clean behind large appliances or furniture, please move them before we arrive.
  27. PRIVACY
    1. In this clause, Personal Information means information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database) whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or opinion.
    2. SPOTLESS4U collects and stores the Personal Information you enter into the User Profile. Personal Information collected by SPOTLESS4U will be maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at

    4. You agree that SPOTLESS4U will disclose your Personal Information, including your name and address to the Business in order for the Business to carry out the Services.
    5. Both parties must abide by all relevant Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1998 in their collection, use, disclosure and storage of Personal Information.
  28. PARKING
    1. We need a nearby parking spot close to your front door for seamless cleaning.
    2. If our cleaners need to use paid parking, we’ll seek your approval beforehand and include the cost in your final invoice.
  29. ACCESSIBILITY
    1. Ensure the cleaner has full access to your home, including running water and electricity and the ability to complete the job without any interruptions from other service providers.
    2. Monitor pets or minors to prevent any disturbances during cleaning.
    3. A $99 fee may apply if the cleaning professional arrives and cannot complete the service due to interruptions, covering their expenses for lost travel time and fuel.
  30. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
    1. The Platform Content is protected by copyright and SPOTLESS4U reserves all Intellectual Property Rights which may subsist in the Platform Content and/or the Platform.
    2. By accepting the Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive license to:
      1. View the SPOTLESS4U website and mobile applications;
      2. print pages from the SPOTLESS4U website or mobile application in its original form; and
      3. download any material from the SPOTLESS4U website or mobile applications for caching purposes only.
    3. You must not, without SPOTLESS4U’s prior written consent which may be withheld at its absolute discretion:
      1. copy, republish, reproduce, duplicate or extract Platform Content;
      2. redistribute, sell, rent or license any Platform Content; or
      3. edit, modify or vary the Platform Content.
  31. WALL / CEILING CLEANING
    1. Light wall marks and dirt are typically addressed during our standard cleaning. However, extensive wall cleaning, removal of smoke marks or mold, or ceiling cleaning may incur additional charges.
    2. This is not part of our Regular or Spring Cleaning services and will add an extra fee if requested.
    3. We do not include the cleaning of smoke marks on walls/ceilings in our end-of-lease and spring cleaning quotes. Ceiling cleaning is available at an extra cost.
    4. ACCEPTABLE USE
    5. You must not use, or cause this Platform to be used, in any way that:
      1. breaches any of these Terms
      2. infringes SPOTLESS4U’s or any third party’s Intellectual Property Rights;
      3. is fraudulent, illegal or unlawful; or
      4. causes impairment of the availability or accessibility of the Platform.
    6. You must not use, or cause this Platform to be used, as a medium that stores, hosts, transmits sends or distributes any material which consists of:
      1. spyware;
      2. computer viruses;
      3. Trojans;
      4. worms;
      5. keystroke loggers; or
      6. any other malicious computer software.
  32. CAMPAIGNS, PROMOTIONS AND CONTESTS
    1. Some of our campaigns, promotions or contests may have additional rules you need to accept if you want to join them. These rules will be specific to each campaign, promotion or contest. “If there’s any conflict between those terms and these Terms, the specific terms and conditions will take priority.
  33. OTHER TERMS
    1. All cleaning products and equipment are included for your convenience.
    2. The quotation doesn’t cover any additional extras unless you specify them when requesting the quote.
    3. If we need to use heavy equipment or do carpet steam cleaning on floors above the ground level without a lift, there might be an extra fee for handling and lifting.
    4. For single-story properties, we reach heights accessible with a 3-step ladder. If you require more, please let us know.
  34. INDEMNITY AND LIABILITY
    1. General indemnity: You agree to indemnify SPOTLESS4U, on demand, against any claim, action, damage, loss, liability, cost, charge, expense or payment which SPOTLESS4U may pay, suffer, incur or are liable for, in relation to any act you do or cause to be done, in breach of these Terms.
    2. General limitation of liability: We will not be liable to you in contract, tort or equity in relation to any direct, indirect or consequential loss you incur in relation to the contents or use of or reliance on Platform Content or otherwise in connection with the Platform.
    3. Services Liability: To the full extent permitted by law, SPOTLESS4U will not be responsible and will be excluded from all liability, for any loss or damage whatsoever (including personal injury, loss of life and damage to property) that you or another person may suffer in connection with a Business or the offer or supply of (or default in supplying) the Services.
    4. Information Accuracy: You acknowledge and agree that some of the Platform Content may be provided by way of blogs or comments made by other users of the Platform and that SPOTLESS4U does not accept any responsibility or make any representation for the accuracy of such information or your reliance on the same. The Platform Content is provided to you as general information only and is not intended to substitute or replace the advice of a duly qualified professional (where applicable).
    5. Acceptance: By using this Platform, you agree and accept that the indemnity and limitations of liability provided in clause 16 are reasonable.
  35. WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS
    1. The use of this Platform is at your own risk. The Platform Content and everything from the Platform is provided to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty or representation of any kind.
    2. None of SPOTLESS4U’s affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contributors, third-party content providers or licensors make any express or implied representation or warranty about the Platform Content or Platform
  36. GENERAL PROVISIONS
    1. Any provision of, or the application of any provision of these Terms which is prohibited in any jurisdiction is, in that jurisdiction, ineffective only to the extent of that prohibition.
    2. Any provision of, or the application of any provision of these Terms which is void, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction does not affect the validity, legality or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction or of the remaining provisions in that or any other jurisdiction.
    3. If a clause is void, illegal or unenforceable, it may be severed without affecting the enforceability of the other provisions in these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law for the time being applicable to Australia and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Australia.
